Belleville, IL. (04/15/2021) Due to overnight rain showers and more forecasted precipitation POWRi and I-30 Speedway officials have decided to postpone the Little Rock Nationals event originally scheduled for Friday, April 16th, and Saturday, April 17th.
“It was a tough decision but the right one to postpone,” said Tracey Clay, owner of I-30 Speedway. Adding, “With the cooler temperatures and wet grounds here in Little Rock as well as more rainfall on the way, we didn’t want to have all the POWRi teams and fans come down without getting the full-show in”.
POWRi officials are currently working diligently with I-30 Speedway to reschedule the Little Rock Nationals for the 2021 racing season. Stay tuned to the POWRi website and social media updates for further information.
The Lucas Oil POWRi National and West Midget Leagues, as well as the POWRi Lucas Oil Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League, will next see racing action at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley Missouri on Friday, April 23rd with the Mid-MO State Midget Nationals followed by a trip to Lucas Oil Speedway’s Open Wheel Showdown on Saturday, April 24th in Wheatland Missouri.
