POWRi NMMRA Prepare for Sandia Speedway Saturday Night

Belleville, IL. (04/13/2021) The fast and always exciting three-eighths-mile dirt oval in Albuquerque New Mexico of Sandia Speedway will welcome the familiar driving faces of the Lucas Oil POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association on Saturday, April 17th with great side-by-side open-wheel racing excitement.

Early season racing has witnessed Devon Amos claim his first feature victory within the POWRi NMMRA competition at Vado Speedway Park in April. Will Amos continue his wave of successes or will a seasoned veteran claim another all-time win, yet maybe the trend of drivers notching their first-ever NMMRA sanction feature victory may be developing?

The Clay Oval Season Opener at Sandia Speedway Presented by Car Crafters on Saturday, April 17th will be open at 25% capacity for spectators, with a mask mandate in effect always as well as Social Distancing regulated.

Classes scheduled to compete at Sandia Speedway on Saturday, April 17th include the Lucas Oil POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association, Mini Sprints, A-Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Cruisers.

Pit Gates Open: 12:00 PM
Drivers Registration: 12:00-2:00 PM
Drivers Meeting: 2:30
Hot Laps: 3:00 PM
