Inside Line Promotions – GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (April 13, 2021) – Brian Brown is aiming to score his fifth Knoxville Raceway Season Opener victory this Saturday.
Brown has won the opening night at the oval in Knoxville, Iowa, during each of the last two years and in three of the last four to give him four trips into Victory Lane during the kickoff to each season at ‘The Sprint Car Capital of the World.’
The four season-opening wins at Knoxville Raceway is tied with Steve Kinser and Doug Wolfgang for the third most. Danny Lasoski (seven wins) and Sammy Swindell (five wins) are next on the list.

“I’m pumped for Knoxville, obviously my favorite track,” Brown said. “Opening night is a big weekend for the track. Everybody is excited about getting the race season kicked off. This year is probably even more exciting with everything that happened last year. Lots of people couldn’t come because of COVID and things like that.
“Nate, Chad and my dad are going to unload a fast Casey’s, FVP No. 21. Hopefully I can go there and do my job, get qualified and put ourselves in position to go for a win. I’m pumped and looking forward to seeing people I didn’t get to see last year and hopefully having a good, solid night and going for a win.”
