Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (April 13, 2021) – Brenham Crouch is venturing to I-30 Speedway this weekend for the first time in his career.
Crouch will pilot a Toyota Racing backed Keith Kunz Motorsports midget during the Little Rock Nationals featuring the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League.
“It’s the right size of track where it’s really, really racy and if you start a few rows back you can make yourself a contender,” he said. “I think we can be successful there. We really want to rebound after last weekend.”
Crouch competed in both a midget and a family owned micro sprint last weekend during the 2nd annual T-Town Midget Showdown presented by the Rayce Rudeen Foundation. Port City Raceway hosted the event showcasing the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Series.
Crouch’s best outing came in a micro sprint as he charged from fifth to win a heat race before finishing seventh in the A Main on Saturday. He was in contention to top that run on Sunday before losing steering, which resulted in a DNF.
“We were contenders at the beginning of Saturday night’s feature and were sticking our nose in for the lead,” he said. “About halfway through we got really, really tight. I tried to make the top work and it didn’t work into our favor. But it’s always cool to go back to past classes for a race or two to have some fun.”
Crouch’s best midget finish of the weekend came on Saturday when he placed 22nd. A racing incident while battling for a transfer position in a B Main ended his night early on Sunday.
