San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Back At Arizona Speedway This Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (April 13, 2021) With the announcement that Arizona Speedway’s life has been extended through November, the one-third-mile oval will return to action on Saturday, April 17 with the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series ready to scatter soil.

In regard to racing beyond this weekend, a complete schedule of events for the rest of the 2021 season is in the works and will be released soon.

Going into Saturday’s action, Joshua Shipley leads the way by 38 points over Aaron Jones with three nights in the books. Patrick Krob holds third with AJ Hernandez and Pete Yerkovich making up the top five in tour standings.

Saturday, April 17 opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:15 P.M. (MT). Tickets are $20 for adults and free for kids 11 and under. Pit Passes are $35 with youth 7-12 only $10. Children under 6 are free in the Pits. Saturday is Fan Appreciate Night and will feature prizes and giveaways.

The night's lineup of classes also includes IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Bombers.
