by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (April 7, 2021) - Beginning on Friday, April 16 the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories Oil Capital Racing Series IMCA Sprint Cars will see an updated nightly pay scale for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Each night will now pay $1,000 to win and $250 to start the A-Feature event.
“After looking at the numbers from the first five shows, Terry and I (Kerry Gorby) put some numbers together to better the nightly payout from $225 to $250 to start. We want to keep the teams traveling and by upping the start money and adding a little bit to middle would help us do so.” Commented OCRS Co-Owner, Kerry Gorby.
“We have had great car counts and we are excited to see what the future holds for the OCRS. While also upping the start money we are also announcing a handful of races that will pay $300 to start and $200 for Non-Qualifiers.” OCRS Co-Owner, Terry Mattox said.
The new nightly payout will be as follows: 1. $1,000, 2. $600, 3. $500, 4. $400, 5. $350, 6. $325, 7. $300, 8. $290, 9. $280, 10. $270, 11. $260, 12-20. $250. All non-qualifiers will receive $100.
On Friday, May 28 at Caney Valley Speedway; Sunday, May 30 at Longdale Speedway, Friday, August 20 at Humboldt Speedway, Saturday, August 21 at Nevada Speedway and Saturday, October 23 at Caney Valley Speedway the A-Feature payout will be $1,000 to win and $300 to start while non-qualifiers receive $200.
The purse for these five races will be as follows: 1. $1,000, 2. $600, 3. $500, 4. $450, 5. $400, 6. $390, 7. $380, 8. $370, 9. $360, 10. $350, 11. $340, 12. $330, 13. $320, 14. $310, 15-20. $300. All non-qualifiers will receive $200.
