Inside Line Promotions – WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (April 6, 2021) – Brenham Crouch is on a roll behind the wheel of a Toyota Racing sponsored Keith Kunz Motorsports midget.

Crouch produced his first career top-10 result in the division two weeks ago. Last week he earned his first career podium finish. That was topped last weekend when Crouch powered to back-to-back podiums during his debut at Riverside International Speedway.

“Last year at this time we were struggling to make A Mains and now we’ve been earning podiums lately so my confidence is growing,” he said. “The goal is to continue to learn and continue to work on consistency.”

Crouch improved throughout each night at the Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Hometown Challenge, which was a non-points race for the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Series. He placed fifth in the dash and advanced from sixth to fourth place in a heat race on Friday. That locked him into the sixth starting position for the A Main.

“It took a second to figure the track out,” he said. “Once I did if I hadn’t run into a few ruts we might have been able to potentially get a win. I caught Cannon (McIntosh) a couple of times to make a move, but I’d end up biking up and having to chase him back down again. Overall, we were very pleased with the progress and to run third against some of the strong competition that was racing was a boost of confidence.”

Crouch’s third-place showing marked his second podium in the last three races.

He backed that up on Saturday, placing second in the dash and fourth in a heat race. This time he maneuvered from eighth to third place in the main event.

“The track was one lane and we had to stay patient,” he said. “It was a peddle-fest around the bottom. We only made a few mistakes and it paid off. We were fortunate to get the spots we did.”

Crouch plans on racing this Friday and Saturday at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., during the 2nd annual T-Town Midget Showdown presented by the Rayce Rudeen Foundation with the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Series.

“We haven’t had a lot of success there so we’re looking for some redemption,” he said. “We’ve done well in the micro sprint at Port City, but we don’t have great results in a midget there. I’m heading in there with more confidence than I’ve had so I’m hoping with that and the experience I’ve logged it will lead to our most successful weekend we’ve ever had at Port City.”
