Gunner Ramey Focused on Contending at ASCS Warrior Region Races and Lake Ozark Speedway Events in 2021

Inside Line Promotions – SEDALIA, Mo. (March 24, 2021) – Gunner Ramey is focused on taking another step forward during his second season behind the wheel of a 360ci winged sprint car.

The 18-year-old returns to the Terry Doogs Racing No. 21 this year with lofty goals thanks to a year of experience and a trio of new marketing partners.

“Last season was a struggle in several ways, especially with COVID-19 limiting the number of available events to run at,” Ramey said. “Luckily, we were able to get some laps in and I think that we learned a lot. I feel very fortunate to be behind the wheel of the Terry Doogs No. 21 sprint car again. Terry has been at it a long time and is a wizard when it comes to sprint cars. The caliber of drivers he’s had is simply phenomenal – Tim Doogs, Brian Brown, Jonathan Cornell and Miles Paulus.

“The goal for this year is to win some races and chase points with the ASCS Warrior Region.”

Ramey, who placed fourth in the ASCS Warrior Region championship standings last year and was the second-highest ranked rookie, will also race regularly at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. The high school senior will add in some Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour shows as well as trips to the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, during open weekends.

“In addition to the exciting schedule we’re proud to welcome some new marketing partners this year,” Ramey said. “Next LED, which is a full-service provider of digital LED signs and scoreboards, and Stax are on board along with Embry Snow Removal. We’re grateful for the support of all of our partners and we’re looking forward to a great season.”

The racing season is slated to start on April 2-3 at Lake Ozark Speedway, which hosts the LOS Spring Nationals featuring the ASCS Warrior Region and ASCS Sooner Region.
