Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (March 11, 2021) Back in action for the season’s second round, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series will take on Arizona Speedway on Saturday, March 13.
Originally a two-night affair with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, COVID restrictions caused the cancelation of the tour’s west-coast swing and brought the weekend to a Saturday night showdown.
Taking the first round, Joshua Shipley will lead the charge into the Saturday showdown. Stevie Sussex enters the weekend runner-up in tour standings with Randy Nelson, Shon Deskins, and Bryan Ledbetter, Jr. making up the top five.
Saturday, March 13, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MT). Tickets are $20 for adults with kids 11 and under admitted free into the Grandstands. Pit Passes are $35 with youth 7-12 only $10. Children under 6 are free in the Pits. The weekend card includes IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, and Bombers.
