Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 8, 2021) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division ventures to Kansas this weekend for the first two of five shows at Caney Valley Speedway this year.
The dirt oval in Caney welcomes the Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class national divisions on Friday and Saturday for the Kansas Spring Thaw.
Frank Flud has dominated the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions, winning six features in each class at Caney Valley Speedway. No other driver has pocketed multiple victories in either division.
Ryder Laplante and Ryan Timms lead the way in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division with a trio of victories apiece.
The NOW600 Series kicked off the 2021 season last weekend with a successful doubleheader in Oklahoma. Flud and Daison Pursley split the Stock Non-Wing main event wins. Flud and Garrett Benson posted Winged ‘A’ Class triumphs. Corbin Rueschenberg and Jaxton Wiggs both earned first career NOW600 Series wins during Restricted ‘A’ Class action.
Nightly tickets for this weekend’s event are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 apiece.
Friday’s event starts at 8 p.m. and Saturday’s show begins at 5 p.m.
