PETERSEN MEDIA: After two weekends of racing for Rod Fauver against the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Jonathan Allard will return to the cockpit of his Williams Motorsports No.0 for rounds 14 and 15 of the 2011 King of the West Series.
After a rough weekend in Placerville, CA that saw the Chico, CA native get upside down in a big way Saturday night, Allard is ready to get back into action with the KWS.
Friday the series returns to Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, CA for their fourth and final time in 2011. Back in April, JA tallied a third place finish before picking up another third during the opening nigh of the Howard Kaeding Classic fourth of July weekend. The Howard Kaeding Classic finale saw JA pull off early putting a bitter taste in his mouth.
“We usually run really well in Watsonville, so I’m looking to have a solid run Friday night to forget about our last run there,” said Allard.
Saturday the series heads to Giant Chevrolet Speedway in Hanford, CA for there first of two stops in 2011.
“We typically run well at Hanford,” said JA. “It’s a big fast, fun track to race at, and I am really looking forward to getting out there Saturday night hopefully picking up the win for Morrie, Katie, and all my guys.
