Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (November 24, 2020) Gearing up for the final showdowns of the season for the American Sprint Car Series, the ASCS Southwest Region and San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series will take to the one-third mile Arizona Speedway for the Fifth annual Copper Classic.
Taking place Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28, the two-day affair will cap the season with a $2,000 to win A-Feature in Non-Wing action, while the ASCS Southwest Region winner will bank $5,000.
For the ASCS Southwest Region, Format will follow rules utilized by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network with Qualifiers being implemented once the field reaches 40 cars.
The San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series will use the standard Draw, Heat, Feature format both nights.
Teams will be able to practice on Wednesday, November 25, from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. (MT). Racing Friday, November 27, and Saturday, November 28 open at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 6:00 P.M. (MT).
Tickets are on sale at http://www.arizonaspeedway.net. Admission per day, if purchased online, is $25 for adults and $10 for youth 7-12. Pit Passes can also be purchased online for $40 per day.
