Crouch Heading to Arizona Speedway This Weekend for ASCS Sprint Car Debut

Inside Line Promotions – MERCED, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2020) – Brenham Crouch will make his ASCS debut this weekend during the Copper Classic.

Crouch, who has two career winged sprint car races under his belt, invades Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz., on Friday and Saturday for the ASCS Southwest Region doubleheader.

“I feel like I got some good dry slick laps in the 360 the last time out,” he said. “Arizona Speedway is big and fast. There will be a lot of sprint cars there. The track should slick off pretty fast I think. That will help a lot.

“Racing the midget has helped a lot as far as pounding the curb or rolling the bottom. I’ve picked up on that a lot these past few weeks.”

Crouch recorded a top-10 outing during his 360ci winged sprint car debut a couple of weeks ago. He’s hopeful the momentum from that performance combined with laps during midget competition at Arizona Speedway earlier this month will translate to success this weekend.

“It’s going to be all about keeping your momentum up,” he said. “If I can somewhat do that I think we’ll be in good shape.

“I’d really like to make both A Mains this weekend and shoot for a top 10 along the way. Even though we haven’t gotten the results we’ve wanted in the midget, I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge and aggressiveness lately. I think that momentum can carry over to this weekend in the sprint car.”

The two-race weekend will mark the final event of the season for Crouch.
