Trey Robb Earns Second POWRi Micro Win

Oklahoma City, OK. (10/16/2020) Trey Robb, New Castle, OK. Native took the lead at the start of the 20-lap main event and never looked back. Adding tonight’s win to his list for the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro Sprint League, this would be his second career win with the series.

Robb came out of the gate and was fast all night, winning his heat race from the third-place position and capturing the high point man award. Setting himself up good for 20-lap main event, slated to start on the pole. On his outside, the 5T of Ryan Timms would make up the front row.

Trey Robb took off to an early advantage with his lead, Robb endured heavy lapped traffic a little over halfway through the race. A lapped car spun out Infront of him causing him to hurt the front end of his car.

Going back green, Robb still lead and the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro season points leader, Harley Hollan followed in second. In the closing laps of the race, Hollan reeled in Robb and attempted a last lap pass but Robb too strong on the bottom pulled away to claim him second POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro League victory.

“When that lapped car spun out Infront of me, I hit him. It messed my steering up really bad, so I didn’t know what was going to happen when we went back green but luckily, I was able to hold onto it.” Trey Robb
