Bryan Hulbert – LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (September 24, 2020) Getting things back in order following the Hockett/McMillin Memorial, Harli White is setting her sights on the COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tire at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark.
Battling through this past weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway, White’s weekend ended early after getting over the cushion on Lap 10.
“That was tough because the car was really starting to work and I feel like if I hadn’t messed up, we could have been a top-five contender at the end, but we’ll regroup and head into Short Track with a fresh outlook.”
Looking ahead to the Short Track Nationals, Harli is excited to get back to the Arkansas oval. Taking a look back to her 2019 visit, Harli charged from 15th to fifth in the $10,041 to win event.
“I love going to I-30. The track is usually technical and with Short Track, you never know what to expect just because the level of competition is so high, but we’re ready to see what we can do. Obviously, that’s where Johnny [Herrera] and I got our first win, so we’ll see if we can go in and back that up.”
The COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires takes place at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3.
The 2020 season marks the 13th year of racing for Harli White. Racing full time with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, Harli will also mix in several events throughout the country when not on the road.
