Jacksonville, IL. (08/23/2020) Harley Hollan of Tulsa, Ok. added win number two on the year to his belt with the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool 600cc Micro Sprint League at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, IL.
Harley Hollan out of Tulsa, Ok. and Darin Naida of Adrian, MI. would sit on the front row to lead the field to green for the 20-lap main event. Hollan lead a considerable number of laps with multiple cautions thrown into play. Joe B Miller who started in the sixth position had made his way up to second and set his sights on running down Hollan.
Halfway through the 20-lap main event Hollan endeared heavy lapped traffic ahead of him and Miller started to close in. The caution flag came out as the battle headed up and stacked the field back together. Harley Hollan lead the field back to a green-white-checkered. Miller jumped to the top on the restart and passed Hollan for the lead. One lap to go with Miller leading and Hollan following behind. Coming out of turn four to the checkered Miller hit the cushion and caused a push and Hollan slide under and they drag raced to the line.
Track officials and POWRi crew members had to take a step back and revert to transponders to determine the race winner. Harley Hollan beat Joe B. Miller to the line by 1,000 of a second and claims his second POWRi victory this season.
