Michigan and Tennessee Dates Canceled Amid COVID-19 Restrictions

Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (August 10, 2020) With strict crowd restrictions still in place, events at Michigan's I-96 Speedway with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network have been canceled, and with those, events at Volunteer Speedway have also been canceled.

"Jeff at I-96 did everything he could to get these shows in, but the restrictions are just too much to support a traveling series. Being tied to the show at Volunteer Speedway, it threw that show in a bind where we can't make that kind of trip for a single night," stated ASCS Schedule Coordinator, Terry Mattox. "Both Jeff at I-96 and Landon at Volunteer Speedway are looking forward to 2021."

The next event for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network is September 12 at I-80 Speedway. The series is continuing to look for other race options.
