Meseraull, Boyles, and Bayston Added to I-55 Roster

Belleville, IL. (08/05/2020) As the most anticipated weekend of the year is only a few days away, the teams have geared up and are ready. Alongside many of our regular POWRi teams, we are expecting a lot of heavy hitters to take on the Ironman 55 event at Federated Auto Parts Raceway this Friday and Saturday, August 7-8.

RMS Racing is planning to have their two cars in attendance for this coming race weekend. Thomas Meseraull will be behind the wheel in the #7X and Clinton Boyles will be in the #98. Thomas Meseraull of San Jose, CA. often known as TMEZ, will be one to keep your eyes on. Since joining the RMS Racing team, Meseraull has accomplished two top fives and two top tens with the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League. Along with multiple huge accomplishments behind the wheel of a sprint car, Meseraull is just getting started in the midgets.

Boyles behind the #98 RMS Racing Midget is no stranger to the POWRi Leagues. Boyles was the 2016 POWRi WAR Sprint Car Champion, and this year stepping in full force into Midget racing. “I like racing with these guys first and foremost because they are good quality people. You’re not going to find a more solid group of guys and girls in racing than our team. They give me the best equipment possible and every opportunity to win. I can’t thank all the people it takes to make this happen enough. I’m excited to get to I-55 and see how the weekend shakes out.” Stated Clinton. This weekend will be his first trip to I-55 Raceway.

Spencer Bayston, the Lebanon, IN. native will be in command of the #19AZ for Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports this weekend for the Ironman 55. Bayston will be stepping in for Logan Seavey this weekend, as Seavey has previous commitments. Spencer Bayston has ten POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League wins, he is also tied with Michael Pickens for 15th on the POWRi all-time wins list. Bayston recently filled in for Seavey during Indiana Midget Week; Seavey had gotten hurt a few days prior at Lincoln Park Speedway.

Spencer Bayston holds high expectations for this weekend’s race. “I am really looking forward to getting another shot in the 19 at a place that I always look forward to running. Andy has put together a top-notch team with some people that I always enjoy running with. I felt like we needed a couple more races after Kokomo to get me up to speed and acquainted working around rizzy and Connor. I feel like this weekend is going to be a great opportunity to build on the run we had and gain some valuable laps.”
