Bryan Hulbert – WACO, Texas (August 4, 2020) Taking the wonders of Wingless Sprint Car Racing to the Heart O’ Texas Speedway and Devil’s Bowl Speedway this weekend, the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprint Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will be in Waco on Friday, August 7and Mesquite on Saturday, August 8.
The Wild Bill White Shootout, named in honor Bill White who was among the first to be inducted into the Heart O’ Texas Speedway Hall of Fame, his son, Paul White, is currently second in series points. The Friday night showdown will also include IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limited. Friday opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing slated for 8:00 P.M. (CT).
Admission is $15 with Senior, Military, and current Student ID admitted for $12. Youth 6-12 are $5, and kids five and under are free.
Moving to the famed half-mile that is the Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 8, the Fifth annual Johnny Suggs Classic, the evening will also include USRA Limited Modifieds and USRA Factory Stocks. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for Seniors, and free or kids 12 and under.
Devil’s Bowl Speedway is located at 1711 Lawson Rd. in Mesquite, Texas. Information on the track can be found at http://www.devilsbowl.com.
At both tracks, it is essential to note wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose is required to enter the facilities and must be worn when standing in line at the ticket gate, concessions, and while using the facilities. Social Distancing requirements are in effect.
