ASCS Frontier Region Set For Two Nights At Sweetwater Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – ROCK SPRINGS, Wy. (August 4, 2020) Gearing for a little windshield time, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region will head south this Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, to Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wy.

Limited to just 600 people in the grandstands due to state restrictions regarding COVID-19, any tickets not sold in advance will be available at the gate the day of the race. Tickets can be purchased at https://market.myracepass.com/store/tickets/?i=1200132&store=12413.

Expecting a stout field of drivers from across the western United States, drivers from Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming have stated their plans to race this weekend. In terms of the battle for the 2020 ASCS Frontier Title, defending series champion, Jeremy McCune, leads by 69 markers over his son, Damon McCune, who is tied with Travis Reber. Robert DeHaan and Trevor Plambeck currently make up the top five.

Both nights open at 5:30 P.M. with races going green at 7:00 P.M. (MT). Along with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, the weekend will include IMCA Sport Mods, Northern Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Cruiser, and Go-Karts.

Admission each night is $20 and $10 for Seniors and Youth 2-12. Sweetwater Speedway is located at 3320 Yellowstone Rd. in Rock Springs, Wy. Information on the track can be found online at http://www.sweetwaterspeedway.com.
