Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 29, 2020) – Brian Brown recorded his 11th top-10 outing at Knoxville Raceway this season last Saturday when he produced another efficient night to continue to lead the championship standings at the track.
July 25 – Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa – Qualifying: 4; Heat race: 6 (5); Feature: 6 (5).
“We have a pretty solid baseline at Knoxville, but there were some things that we had been wanting to try all year so we tried something different every time we were on the track Saturday,” Brown said. “Some worked and some didn’t. In the feature we were very bad. So we definitely know what not to do or try there. Overall it was a productive night. We had lots of close calls in the heat race and the A Main that could have ended in the ambulance, but luckily we came out unscathed.”
UP NEXT – Friday at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa; Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa; and Sunday at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1
“I’m looking forward to a big weekend of racing with the All Stars at three awesome tracks,” Brown said. “I’m looking forward to getting back to West Burlington and Knoxville. And I’m very excited that Tod Quiring took over Huset’s and that we can be there for the grand reopening this weekend.”
