Smiley’s Racing Products/Hoosier Tire Southwest Offering $10,000 In Store Credit To ASCS Sprint Week Teams

Bryan Hulbert – MESQUITE, Texas (July 22, 2020) Putting up $10,000 worth of store credit at Smiley’s Racing Products/Hoosier Tire Southwest the top five in points at the close of the 2020 ASCS Sprint Week will walk home with a little extra to put towards their racing program.

Owned by Tom Lorenz, the Mesquite, Texas-based speed shop currently has five locations with three additional Texas stores in Kennedale, The Woodlands, and Sherman as well as a location in Oklahoma City. Open since 1968, Smiley’s Racing Products is also present at tracks across the southwest with over 100 events services annually.

“We have been a part of ASCS for a long time, and it’s been good partnership not only with the series but the teams that help make it happen,” stated Lorenz. “We’re really glad to be able to be a part of this Sprint Week, and hope we can make bigger in the years to come and continue to give back to the racers that have supported us for so many years.”

Dividing the $10,000 worth of inventory up at the end of the Sprint Week, the high point driver when all is said and done will get a gift card good for $3,000 in goods and services from Smiley’s Racing Products. Second will receive a card worth $2,500. Third gets $2,000. Fourth gets $1,500, and fifth gets $1,000.

The 2020 ASCS Sprint Week will start on Tuesday, August 11, at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.), then roll to Caney Valley Speedway (Caney, Kan.) on Wednesday, August 12. Round three will hit 81-Speedway (Park City, Kan.) on Thursday, August 13, with Round four at Creek County Speedway (Sapulpa, Okla.) on Friday, August 14. The fifth round of competition lands at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) on Saturday, August 15.
