After charging her way to a seventh place race last Friday night at the LA Raceway in LaMonte, MO, Miranda Arnold is poised for another strong run as she again goes to battle with the ASCS Winged Outlaw Warrior Region at the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO.
During last weekends race, Miranda snagged a third place finish as she wrestled her Arnold Motorports entry around the track, but was forced to race through the B-main to earn a starting spot in the nights feature.
In the B, Miranda took advantage of her pole starting spot and dominated the race locking herself into the 17th starting spot for the A-Main event.
The waving of the initial green flag saw Arnold take a liking to her Mid-Mo Auto Sales backed entry as she used both the top and bottom of the speedway to navigate through traffic.
As the laps continued to click away, Miranda continued to weave her way through traffic, as she worked her way into the fifth spot with just 10 laps remaining.
The next 10-laps began to take a wrong turn for Miranda, as her motor began to lose power. As the checkered waved, Miranda was the hard charger of the night with her impressive run up to the seventh spot.
“Early in the night my car was a little tight, so we made some quick adjustments after the heat and before the B,” explained Miranda. “The car was awesome for both the B, and the A but we had a little bad luck and broke a spark plug with about 10 to go so we fell back to seventh. I had a blast and we had a really good car and I’m very excited to get to Springfield Raceway this weekend.”
