One week after grabbing a 12th place finish with the ASCS Winged Outlaw Warrior Region, Haley Arnold is geared up for two nights of racing this weekend as she returns to the seat of her Arnold Motorsports 305ci sprint car on Friday before another night of action with the ASCS Warrior Region on Saturday night.
Saturday’s event at the LA Raceway in LaMonte, MO got off to a solid start for Haley, as she motored her way from her fourth starting spot in her heat race to a solid third place finish giving her a direct transfer into the nights feature event.
“Anytime your able to go directly from your heat to the feature is a good feeling considering all the cars out here and how important passing points are,” said Haley.
As the green flag waved on the A-Main, Haley quickly put her Arnold Motorsports/Mid-Mo Auto Sales mount on the top of the racey surface as she looked to work her way forward from the 12th spot.
With the race clicking off at a rapid pace, the rest of the field worked the bottom, as Haley continued to search around the track as she had fallen back to the 16th spot.
Once she jockeyed her way back to the bottom of the track, she then began picking off positions as the race drew to a close.
The last three laps saw Haley work her way back into the 12th spot where she would go on to finish.
“Overall I think it was a really good night,” explained Haley. “I got off to a slow start in the main, but feel like we rebounded well and really had a good showing during Mid-Mo Auto Sales Night.”
