For the USAC East Coast and Big Block Modified event scheduled for the Orange County Fair Speedway on Thursday, July 2nd the following information is extremely pertinent to the event.
USAC East Coast Teams will have to pre-enter for the event through the Orange County Fair Speedway
Pre Entry will be $225 per team and includes SIX (6) Pit Passes max per team
Pit spots will be designated in the outer parking areas of the speedway as the infield is being used for a small section of fan drive in parking, and to abide by social distancing policies.
Sprint cars will be pushed to the track surface or to the pit lane to be fired off. This has yet to be fully determined.
Teams must call the speedway office ASAP to pre-register for this event at the following phone number: 845-342-2573. Their hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. Timing is key as we race next Thursday.
There is NO LIMIT on the amount of USAC East Coast teams that can enter this event, so please come on out to our season opener!!
The Modified teams that are regulars at the speedway have been doing this process since the speedway has reopened. All of the guidelines are to assist with keeping hand to hand transactions of cash to a minimum or removed all together to assist with the Governors orders in New York due to Covid-19.
