Bryan Hulbert – CALHAN, Colo. (June 24, 2020) Revising the 2020 lineup of events for the ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Series, the Colorado-based tour will be in action this Saturday, June 27 at El Paso County Raceway.
Four events this with a trio of winners, the only repeat victor on the season came in the tour’s opening weekend at the Calhan oval as Brett Ream swept the weekend for his first two career ASCS Regional victories. Currently runner-up in tour standings, the field is chasing Greeley’s, Zack Merritt. One win, and four consecutive top-five finishes, the margin between the two is a mere 11 markers.
Tied for third, Gary Land and Jeff Seesholtz both sit 81 points from the top of the charts with Brian Hardman making up the top five.
Unlike the previous visit to El Paso County Raceway, this weekend will welcome fans into the Grandstands with admission set a $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors and Military, $5 for youth 6-12 years of age, and free for kids five and under. Fans unable to attend can watch online at http://www.IMCA.tv.
Racing begins at 5:00 P.M. (MT) and includes Lightning Sprints, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, NOW600 Micros, Dwarf Cars, and Compacts in addition to the ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Series.
