Murdock Wins NOW600 Mountain West Region at Newcastle Speedway

NEWCASTLE, Wyom. (June 22, 2020) - George Murdock powered to victory on Saturday night as the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Mountain West Region made their first 2020 appearance at Newcastle Speedway.

7 Stock Non-Wing Micro Sprints were in attendance for the Saturday night showdown at the Newcastle, Wyoming oval.

Rolling from the outside front row Murdock picked up the win. Wren Jacobs crossed in the second spot with Doug McIntosh finishing in the third spot. Duane Haugen ended fourth from seventh with Ryan Fulk who lead the opening 15 laps finishing fifth after a spin.

Tom Peterson was sixth and Nikko Bailes the field.

Murdock picked up the Heat race win while Ryan Fulk picked up the Qualifier win.

The Mountain West Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series continues on Saturday, July 11 at Newcastle Speedway in Newcastle, Wyoming.
