Belleville, IL. (06/22/2020) Alternating weekends of competition the POWRi RaceSaver 305 Sprint Cars at Lake Ozark Speedway will once again see action on the fast one-third of a mile oval on Saturday, June 27th with wheel-to-wheel battles for every position.
Quickly becoming a fan-favorite class at “The Lake” the POWRi 305’s has had two features in 2020 with Clayton, Indiana racer #23J Jordan Welch earning the first week’s race on May 24th. Hamersville, Ohio wheelman #78 Justin Clark held off the hard charge of #55 Kenny Potter on June 13th to win the second feature of the season for the fast-paced sprint class.
Saturday, June 27th the POWRi Lucas Oil RaceSaver 305 Sprint Series will accompany all regular weekly classes at Lake Ozark Speedway, sponsored by Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital. Pit’s open at 3 pm with general admission tickets available at 5 pm. Hot Laps kick-off at 6:30, with racing to follow. Classes scheduled to compete include: LOS Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stock, USRA B-Mods, and the always entertaining POWRi RaceSaver 305 Sprints.
