San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Returns To Arizona Speedway This Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (June 18, 2020) The long-awaited return of Sprint Car racing in Arizona is about to be realized as the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series returns to action on Saturday, June 20 at Arizona Speedway.

Off since March 7, this Saturday’s event marks the fourth show of the 2020 season. Atop the driver standings going into this weekend is Tempe’s Sterling Cling who has already secured a pair of wins this year. Ryan Murphy trails by 50 markers with Rick Shuman, Jonas Reynolds, and Pete Yerkovich making up the top five.

Due to current rules in the state of Arizona, a limited number of tickets will be sold as the track can only have 50% capacity. Teams will also need to pre-register with the track to secure a spot.

Saturday, June 20 opens at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 7:45 P.M. (MT). The night’s lineup will also include IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, and Bombers. Admission is $20 with youth 6-12 admitted for $5. Kids five and under are free into the grandstands.
