Sun Prairie, Wis., June 17---Ten days remain for car owners, drivers, and crews who eagerly await the 2020 season opener for the Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Series. One of those drivers is 21-year old Derek Doerr who is ready to begin his rookie season with the series.

Derek and his father Randy during over the offseason acquired the Tim Routson midget racing operation. The Boss chassis, with a Chevrolet engine was piloted to four Badger feature wins, and a second place finish in Badger points last year with Jack Routson driving.
"I've managed to run practice sessions at two different tracks, that has been invaluable to me before we begin at Wilmot, but it's a whole new game with other cars on the track " said Doerr. Doerr has assembled a great list of sponsors that will be on the No. 20 entry including: Ryan's Auto Care; Klecker Heating & Cooling; Ken Diebble Amsoil; Maas Heating & Cooling; Best Engineering; River City Truck Repair; Mr. Green Jeans Lawn Care; Wolff Pack Apparel & Promotions; Kathy's Buffalo Bar and Creative Earthscapes.
