Brownfield Classic and Dirt Cup Adjusted To End Of July

Bryan Hulbert – ALGER, Wash. (June 11, 2020) With the continuing crowd restrictions in place in the state of Washington, the Fred Brownfield Classic at Grays Harbor Raceway (Elma, Wash.) and 49th Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by the Skagit Casino Resort at Skagit Speedway (Alger, Wash.) has been moved to the final two weeks of July.

Taking place Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, the Fred Brownfield Classic will serve as the lead-in to the $15,000 to win, $1,000 to start Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by the Skagit Casino Resort, happening July 30 through August 1.

“There is so much unknown with what each state if going to do so there was a lot of back and forth with Steve [Beitler] to make sure when and where we could move the event,” commented ASCS National Director, Matt Ward. “The Brownfield and Dirt Cup are a huge part of our National Tour lineup, and we appreciate Steve and his entire staff for working with us to make sure the event could happen.”

Tickets for the Fred Brownfield Classic are on sale by calling (360) 482-4374. General Admission per day is $27. Youth, Senior, and Military are admitted for $21. Kids 6 and under are free into the grandstands. Grays Harbor Raceway is located at 30 Elma McCleary Rd. in Elma, Wash.
