North Dakota (5/31/20) This weekend the POWRi Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints in conjunction with the NLSA had two great nights of racing on tap for the weekend. It was kicked off by a trip to River Cities Speedway better know as "the bullring" across the country to sprint car fans. The track itself has gone thru some major changes over the course of last fall and spring that it was almost like a new race track for everyone!
It was definitely a beautiful night for racing and the 12 lighting sprints took to the track to do do battle with two heat races with Alan Truscinski winning heat one and heat 2 went to last weeks feature winner Kelsi Pederson. In the feature Dexter Dvergsten took command of the race which was slowed by only only one caution and took his first feature win of the year. Rounding out the top five at the bullring were Alex Truscinski, Kelsi Pederson, Alan Truscinski & Jason Berg. Bryce Haugeberg was the hard charger winning $50 courtesy of Amanda Enright.
Saturday night the POWRI Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints in association with the NLSA headed west to again tackle the Devils Lake Speedway with 10 cars making the trip. It was another beautiful night of racing as the weather was just about perfect for a night at the race track.
