Saturday night during the Eagle Nationals in Eagle, Nebraska, Shane Stewart stormed to a sixth place finish from his 23rd starting position aboard his Paul Silva owned ROCKSTAR/Makita/A.R.T. No.57.
The 30-lap affair got off to a rocky start as the red flag flew on the first lap, moving Stewart up one spot for the ensuing single file restart.

The restart saw Shane continue to work his way forward as he was able to get past Tony Bruce, Jr on the 23rd lap for the sixth spot and over the final laps work on Brady Bacon for fifth. At the stripe it was Bacon holding off Stewart, but Stewart held on to sixth after his event feature.
“We got off to a rough start early in the night, and we ended up having to start in the back of a tough ‘B’ and didn’t make it out,” said Shane. "Paul gave me a great car in the feature and I was able to move up through the field and get a solid finish."
