KC Raceway and Caney Valley Speedway On Deck for Memorial Weekend

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (May 6, 2020) - Memorial Day Weekend has extended back to a three night swing which will take the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Championship presented by the Hi Plains Building Division across Missouri and Kansas.

Announced on Monday with the cancellation of Dodge City and Garden City, the KC Raceway in Independence, Missouri stepped up to help save the weekend hosting the National Micros on Friday and Saturday night.

The two-night event at KC Raceway will feature not only the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micros, but also Junior Sprints, Sportsman, Outlaws and Mod Lites.

Friday night racing gets underway at 8pm and Saturday night racing gets going at 7pm.

After further discussions with area tracks, Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas will pick up the Sunday night event on the way back from Kansas City.

"Kerry was looking at doing something for his OCRS series and it just happened to work out that we were coming back from Kansas City." said NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox.

The Sunday night show at Caney Valley Speedway will feature the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micros and OCRS Sprint Cars for a special open wheel event.

Racing on Sunday will begin at 7pm.

More information on Memorial Day weekend will be released in the coming weeks.
