The Jackson Motorplex will be hosting the Great Lakes Shootout presented by Tweeter Contracting and Harvey’s Five Star Roofing for 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars and Racesaver Sprint Cars on Friday & Saturday May 15-16 with NO spectators. Fans can watch the event live on www.speedshifttv.com both nights.
Friday night will feature the 410 Outlaw sprint cars paying $5,000 to win along with the Racesaver Sprint Cars. Saturday night’s event will feature just the 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars paying $7,000 to win. Full payout will be posted next week.
There will be a limited number of teams allowed at this event. Race teams will be required to pre-register online at https://www.myracepass.com/register/?n=11743 or www.jacksonmotorplex.com by Thursday May 14th at noon. Pit entry will be limited to 10 people per car. There will not be a registration fee and pit passes will be $40 per person.
All CDC Guidelines will be enforced and teams will be required to park a min. of 15’ apart and practice social distancing while in the pit area.
Raceceiver’s and Mylaps.com transponders will be mandatory. Teams that have their own transponder they should bring them along. The track will have a limited number available.
NO spectators will be allowed in the stands or the pits. You must be with a race team to enter the pits. A comprehensive plan was submitted to the governor’s office last week and we are waiting upon final approval from the MN. governor and highly anticipate approval will be granted.
