Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (March 31, 2020) As information continues to change on how to deal with the COVID-19 epidemic, social distancing has remained a constant part of the equation and because of that, the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps is the latest to see their 2020 season remain idle.
With current federal guidelines extended to the end of April, the original season opening date at Lake Ozark Speedway on April 4 and co-sanctioned event with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network at U.S. 36 Raceway on April 17 have already been cancelled. Along with the two April events, Lucas Oil Speedway on May 2 is also a wash.
Beyond the already lost dates, the series will operate on a week by week basis to allow the most current and credible information to be used in making the call to race, cancel, or postpone.
Event updates will be posted to http://www.ascsracing.com as well as our Social Media Outlets on Facebook and Twitter (@LucasOilASCS). We will also issue emails to our E-News Letter, which anyone can sign up for at https://bit.ly/3cTRbCq.
