Belleville, IL – In light of recent guidance and directives from the CDC suggesting postponement of events over the next several weeks, POWRi and track officials have postponed the Turnpike Challenge in favor of Wednesday, April 29 – Sunday, May 3, 2020.
All of POWRi’s events bring national travel and our concern is the risk posed to our fan base, race teams, and staff. The health and safety of all POWRi event attendees is our priority and this measure has been taken so that everyone can follow the recommended guidelines as advised by government officials. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been affected by this pandemic.
While this event has been rescheduled, POWRi officials and track officials are evaluating the 2020 schedule as the COVID-19 situation continues to develop. Any further changes will be communicated via press releases and social media updates. We thank you for your patience during this time and we look forward to seeing you at the track.
