Bryan Hulbert - MERCED, Cali. (March 4, 2020) To clarify any confusion, the engine package required by the American Sprint Car Series will be enforced during events in California.
The engine rules are posted at https://www.ascsracing.com/series-info/rules.aspx
The only rule amendment on the weekend is the required muffler. The ASCS Schoenfeld Muffler (Part #14272735-78) will not be allowed.
The required Mufflers will be the Flowmaster (Part #56545-10) or SpinTech (Part #1545 Super Stock). Both can be used with turndowns. The DBA requirements at all tracks are 95 dba @ 100’. This is strictly enforced.
Any questions regarding the rules set forth by the American Sprint Car Series can be directed to National Coordinator, Matt Ward at (918) 995-1650.
