Inside Line Promotions – LUBBOCK, Texas (Feb. 25, 2020) – Brenham Crouch has a huge year on tap with endeavors in multiple types of race cars lined up.

The 14-year-old eighth grader will mostly run Winged ‘A’ Class and Stock Non-Wing micro sprint events with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division in addition to other marquee events. The season begins this Friday and Saturday at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, where Crouch will make his Stock Non-Wing debut.

“My goal is to put the Winged ‘A’ Class car in the top three and run top five in Stock Non-Wing, but I know it’ll be a tough field in both classes,” he said. “We’ve had some success there so that definitely gives us confidence.”

Crouch has four career micro sprint victories at the oval and he was the Winged ‘A’ Class runner up in the most recent NOW600 National Series event at Superbowl Speedway. He achieved his first career NOW600 National Series triumph last year in Caney, Kan., and has lofty goals for his 2020 campaign.

“My goal is to win as many races as possible in all the different classes we will be competing in this year,” he said. “You have to stay humble and stay hungry.”

Crouch also has multiple races in a midget, a winged sprint car and an asphalt super late model on tap in addition to the micro sprint action this year.

“We’ll start out running as many NOW600 races as we can,” said Team Manager Joey Starnes, who is focusing on tuning this weekend rather than racing. “Throughout the course of the season he’ll do some asphalt stuff, midget stuff and sprint car stuff. He’ll get his feet wet in a lot of different opportunities.”

Crouch is excited by the chance to improve himself as a driver.

“The more the merrier,” he said. “I feel really comfortable in the micro stuff. I’m confident in the car that Joey Starnes gives me every week. We came up one spot short from where we wanted to be at the Tulsa Shootout, but we’ll use that as motivation. I’m excited to run sprint car and midget stuff, too. I believe the more classes I run will give me more experience to become a better driver.”
