Petersen Media- Fresh off their first win of the 2011 season, the Brett Ervin Racing team led by driver, Andy Gregg, head to the biggest track on the Golden State King of the West Series circuit, the historic Calistoga Speedway for rounds seven and eight this Memorial Day weekend.
After picking up his first career series victory just one week ago, Gregg looks to carry his momentum into this weekends double header at the challenging scenic ½ mile track.
“Once you pick up that first win you have more confidence and you get a little bit of a swagger,” said Gregg. “We’re hoping for success this weekend, but Calistoga is tricky because its such a big track, and typically we don’t get on tracks of this size, but I’m confident Brett and the guys will give me another strong car.”
By way of his win last weekend, Gregg and his 7 Industries/Ervin Sales Group/Eagle No.53 currently sit in the fifth spot in the standings just 11points behind Brent Kaeding for the fourth spot.
Fans are encouraged to make the weekend trip to beautiful Calistoga, CA and take in the racing as well as the sights in the historic town. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 6pm for qualifying with racing to follow immediately after on both Saturday and Sunday.
