DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 28, 2020) - Officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by the Hi Plains Building Division have announced the 2020 Triple Crown Challenge dates and format.
Three races at three different tracks in three different states on the 2020 NOW600 National schedule will play host to the Triple Crown Challenge.
If a driver can sweep all three events, they will take home a $1,000 bonus.
2020 NOW600 Triple Crown Challenge Dates:
Saturday, April 11: KC Raceway - Independence, MO
Friday, May 8: Creek County Speedway - Sapulpa, OK
Saturday, October 17: Caney Valley Speedway - Caney, KS
The format for the 2020 NOW600 Triple Crown Challenge will be as follows.
Drivers will draw for their group qualifying session. Following group qualifying, heat races will be lined up base off times. There will be a four car invert per heat race. Depending on car count will depend on the number of cars transferring to the A-Main or to the B-Main.
The A-Main will be based off times with the top eight inverted based off times. Each A-Main will be 20-laps.
