The first ever “Mini Speed Week” for the Rapid Tire, USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series will kick off the month of July, and lead into a fantastic July 4th weekend in 2020. Three unique tracks will be a part of this mini series, and extra money has been added to the purse for these special events.

The action will kick off on Thursday July 2nd as the series will return to New York and make its first ever visit to the Orange County Fair Speedway in addition to a special twin 50 program for the Big Block Modifieds on the “Hard Clay.”

Friday night the series will make another stop at the Big Diamond Speedway. A track that has supported the series from its very inception, the Minersville, PA oval was the site of the series highest ever car count in 2019 where 31 cars entered the pit area.

The series will return to the New Egypt Speedway for their only appearance of the year to wrap up Mini Speed Week on Saturday, July 4th. Unfortunately the event at New Egypt last season was lost due to weather, but the track has returned for 2020. The July 4th show at New Egypt is another great modified and sprint car double as they will be a part of the Firecracker weekend.

Bill Gallagher of Valley Forge Inc has stepped up and added an extra $645 to the purse for each night of Mini Speed Week. This will bump up the pay for all three nights from 11th-20th positions to $300 in an effort to help racers out with the expenses associated with running all three nights of action.

Gallagher is no stranger to Sprint Car racing as he is a long time URC car owner, most notably with driver Curt Michael, and has made the switch over to wingless sprint car ownership with USAC East Coast in recent years.

Valley Forge Inc is a leading recycling center specializing in mulch, topsoil and stone. Valley Forge Inc offers recycled concrete as an environmentally friendly product created from demolished structures, construction waste and other sources as a cost effective alternative to stone materials.
