Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 28, 2019) – Another highly successful season for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies concludes this weekend during a doubleheader hosted by Arkoma Speedway.
The bullring in Arkoma, Okla., features the top three divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – on Saturday and Sunday.
Frank Flud has wrapped up the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class championships. He also won both titles in 2017.
The Restricted ‘A’ Class championship isn’t settled as Ryan Timms has a 47-point advantage over defending series champion Ryder Laplante. Timms would secure the title by making the A Main both nights.
There has been one series event at Arkoma Speedway this season. Flud won the Stock Non-Wing main event. Timothy Watson III scored the Winged ‘A’ Class triumph. Timms was victorious during Restricted ‘A’ Class action.
This weekend’s competition will have earlier than usual start times. The pit gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. Hot laps begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday with racing to follow.
