USAC WSO’S DOUBLEHEADER WEEKEND HITS CREEK COUNTY
Sapulpa, Oklahoma (October 7, 2019)………The 2019 USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma champion will be crowned this weekend following two consecutive nights of racing, this Friday and Saturday night, October 11-12, at the Fall Fling at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.
Brett Wilson (Coweta, Okla.) holds an 89-point lead entering the weekend in his quest for a second consecutive series title. Johnny Kent (Kiefer, Okla.) is Wilson’s closest pursuant, second in the standings. Both are seeking their first Creek County wins of 2019.
Andrew Deal (Caney, Kans.) has won twice this year at Creek County while Danny Smith (Sand Springs, Okla.) and Matt Sherrell (Owasso, Okla.) have each occupied victory lane once apiece at the ¼-mile dirt oval.
The John Christner Trucking Fall Fling presented by James Hodge Ford features the USAC WSO Sprints along with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series. Both nights, gates open at 5:30pm Central, drivers meeting at 6:30pm, hot laps at 7pm and racing at 7:30pm. On Friday, October 11, adult tickets are $20, youths age 11-14 are $6 and kids 10 & under are free. On Saturday, October 12, adult tickets are $25, youths age 11-14 are $6 and kids 10 & under are free. Pit passes are $40 apiece.
