SHREVE, Ohio (September 23, 2019) - The first win is always the hardest to achieve, according to the well-known proverb, but for Shreve, Ohio’s Trevor Baker, the second win required just as much patience. Suffice it to say, the wait is over and Trevor Baker is back in victory lane.
In dominating fashion, ‘T-Rev’ Trevor Baker earned his second-career sprint car victory during Sharon Speedway’s Apple Festival Nationals on Saturday, September 21, earning $3,000 in the process after leading all 30 circuits.
“This feels great,” Trevor Baker said, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Triple-X Chassis/No. 45 sprint car. “We’ve been close a lot since earning our first win at Wayne County Speedway a few seasons ago, but to finally get it done again feels pretty awesome. I just can’t thank my team enough for their hard work. Racing is humbling, for sure. Hopefully we can keep this momentum going and do it again soon.”
Wasting little time celebrating his Sharon Speedway triumph, Trevor Baker will continue his 2019 campaign with a doubleheader at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, September 27 & 28. Baker will join the World of Outlaws on Friday, followed by an All Star Circuit of Champions start on Saturday.
“We’re always excited to race at Eldora,” Baker added. “The best of the best will be there, but getting the opportunity to race alongside those guys is always special.”
