Bret Ervin Racing Heads to the Bradway

Saturday night in Chico, CA the Bret Ervin Racing team will take part in the most prestigious race of the 2011 Golden State King of the West Series, the 21st Annual Dave Bradway, Jr Memorial.

“This race is always a lot of fun, and in front of a huge crowd,” said Bret Ervin Racing driver Andy Gregg.

The Bradway pays homage to the late Dave Bradway, Jr who was taken from the racing community all too soon in Alger, WA at the Skagit Speedway in 1987. With the pre race Pit Part by 7 Industries set to kick off the event at 10 am on Saturday, activities throughout the day and night make this a true fan friendly event.

Fresh off a third place run last weekend in Marysville, Andy sits third in points as the series returns to the track that he won his first career 410ci sprint car race.

“Chico will always hold a special place in my heart as it’s where I won my first 410 race battling Jonathan Allard,” said Gregg. “This series is tough though, so we will really have to be on top of our game to bring this race home.

Fans are encouraged to get to the track early Saturday. The Pit Part is slated to kick off at 10 am allowing fans to hang out with their favorite drivers before hand, and get a chance to meet the new 7 Industries girls.

Racing action is set to go green promptly at 7pm.
