Bryan Hulbert – TUCSON, Ariz. (September 10, 2019) Just off a two-night swing at New Mexico’s Vado Speedway Park, the ASCS Southwest Region returns to Arizona for the season’s final appearance at USA Raceway in Tucson.
Going into the Saturday affair, Colton Hardy has taken over the top spot with the ASCS Southwest Region by 22 markers.
Ten A-Features with finishes inside the top ten, and seven in the top five, Hardy’s consistency has put him atop the points going into the Tucson showdown. In the series visit on April 27, Hardy finished third to Rick Ziehl and Lorne Wofford.
Far from out of the running, anyone in the top five has a shot at taking over the point’s lead this weekend as Eric Wilkins trails by 22 with J.T. Imperial third by 55 markers. Lorne Wofford and Jesse Baker who sits only 69 points out of the lead round out the top five.
