(Auburn MI)- The August 31 Comp Cams Great Lakes Fall Sprintacular Presented by Engine Pro was a night of celebrating an incredible 2019 race season.
Two drivers that had a little extra to celebrate following the 30-lap main event were Ricky Peterson and Andrew Scheid. Rawson, Ohio driver Peterson had a strong showing in the feature event eventually finishing in third position. The random drawing to determine the Comp Cams Lucky Dog $250 award ended up being a three, which rewarded the third-place feature finish for the hard charging Buckeye racer who finished third in spite of last lap damage to his race car. A very happy driver and car owner Terry Busche were very appreciative of Comp Cams involvement with the entire event.
The second lucky dog recipient was the young driver from Sparta, MI Andrew Scheid. The random drawing in victory lane had a number six ball drawn for the Engine Pro Lucky Dog $250 award. Just finishing outside the top five with a sixth-place finish was fortunate for this young racer. The driver of the 77 machine was very excited to win the award and the extra cash made the entire team just a bit happier with their results.
The Great Lakes Super Sprints would like to thank Comp Cams and The Perfit Company/Engine Pro for their support of this event. All the race teams, fans and officials were very excited to have them involved with this prestigious event.
