Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Sept. 2, 2019) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies will make its final visit to Superbowl Speedway this Saturday.
It marks the first time since the season-opening doubleheader in February that the series and its three premier micro sprint divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will invade the bullring in Greenville, Texas.
Frank Flud split the Stock Non-Wing races with Anton Hernandez, but he swept the Winged ‘A’ Class main events. Ryan Timms did the same thing in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division.
The winning ways of Flud and Timms has guided both drivers to the lead in the championship standings. Flud’s 12 Stock Non-Wing wins give him a 174-point lead over Jared Dunkin. His 17 Winged ‘A’ Class triumphs have helped build a 134-point advantage over Cole Roberts. Timms’ 12 Restricted ‘A’ Class victories have led him to a 63-point margin over Ryder Laplante.
The next opportunity is this Saturday and the gates open at 6 p.m. with racing set for 8 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors 65-years-old and older with identification as well as children ages 7-years-old to 10-years-old. Pit passes are $35 for anyone 3-years-old and older.
