Tough luck for Baker during Attica and Wayne County outings

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

SHREVE, Ohio (August 19, 2019) - If it was not for bad luck, ‘T-Rev’ Trevor Baker would have no luck at all. The recent weekend was a true testament to that cliche, as the Shreve, Ohio-native was clocked with back-to-back tough outings in the Buckeye State starting with brake failure at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, August 16.

Baker’s visit to Wayne County Speedway on Saturday, August 17, was on pace for a much better ending. While battling just outside of the top-ten, the result of a rally from 22nd on the grid, Baker made contact with another competitor ultimately ending all hope for a top-ten finish. There were 32 cars on hand for the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association (OVSCA) program.

“We were fast all weekend, we just had some silly luck. Hopefully we catch a break soon,” Trevor Baker said, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/No. 45 sprint car. “I’m not sure what our plan is for the upcoming weekend. We’ll wait and see what the weather does and make a decision later in the week.”

Trevor Baker’s upcoming plans will be unveiled later in the week. Plans for later in the season include a potential four-race weekend with the All Star Circuit of Champions over Labor Day.
